Alliance introduces a revolutionary new way to partner with hotels called - Hands Free F.I.T. This completely automated program requires no inventory management by hotel personnel, guaranteed rate parity, and absolutely no invoicing.

Born out of comments made by our current hotel partners offering us net rate inventory, for years hotel personnel have complained of having to manage yet another extranet updating availability and rates, monitoring rate parity compliance, and trying to make sure they don't have to walk guest when oversold. Add this to hotels would then have to muddle through the invoice process in order to get paid. For these reasons, our partners wanted us to create an easier option to do business with them. So we did and here’s how it works:

When a guest chooses rates and availability on one of the thousands of partner web sites we power from online marketers, corporations, and travel agencies, Alliance does not book the reservation through the GDS (saving hoteliers the expensive GDS fees) but instead faxes the guest reservation details including credit card directly to our partner hotel. The exact rate and room description is shown to the guest as it appears from the Hotel's inventory so there's never a question about the room description being accurate or the rate being at parity. On this reservation fax, Alliance will include an "Alliance Rate" equal to exactly 15% below the hotel's public rate which hotel personnel will enter into the property management system for that room type. Alliance then takes a deposit of exactly 15% from the guest to ensure rate parity exist and then the guest pays the hotel the Alliance Rate upon checkout. This way the hotel does not have to manage inventory, invoicing, bad debt or commission payments - HANDS FREE.

Hotels never have to close out inventory or worry about adjusting rates up of down since we pull rates and availability dynamically from the hotels' inventory in real-time. We’re closed out whenever the Hotel's inventory is closed out, and our rate is the always the same as the hotel's public rates. And yes we can even filter out qualified rates such as Government, AARP, or AAA rates.

And just in case you like doing business the old fashion way, we still offer standard GDS booking and the tradition merchant model platform with a twist. Unlike other online hotel booking companies, Alliance allows their hotel partners the ability to manage rates and availability at will. In others words, Alliance gives their hotel partners an extranet tool to manage their rates and availability freely. Alliance does not restrict a hotel from selling out inventory in the block they committed to Alliance for any reason. Also, if the hotel feels they should be able to get more for the room than was previously negotiated, the hotel can raise their rates to Alliance without permission.

Alliance then sends a "virtual" American Express credit card number with every reservation. This card is authorized for the exact amount of the reservation; so the hotel can charge for the reservation at time of checkout. Hotels never have to wait for money, create invoices to be paid, or worry about bad debt.

The only thing Alliance asks is if the Hotel shows availability in the extranet tool they manage, they honor that availability. And, the rate needs to be discounted by the percentage outlined in the terms of our contract with the partner hotel. (this discount does not apply to qualified rates such as AARP, AAA, Government, etc.)
